As a Sales Development Representative at Fastmore, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth and expanding our client base. We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented individual who can leverage their industry knowledge, network, and business development skills to identify and secure new opportunities. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and executive leadership, to ensure the successful implementation and execution of strategic initiatives.

Fastmore has been providing domestic transportation services to freight forwarders for more than 15 years. We simplify logistics through collaboration, transparency, and cutting-edge technology while delivering what matters most for freight forwarders. In 2022, Fastmore was acquired by Echo Global Logistics – a Fortune 1000 provider of technology-enabled transportation management services. As a third-party logistics provider, Echo simplifies transportation management for our clients and carriers.

This is a remote role on the west coast with domestic travel 25% of the time


  • Identify and target potential domestic and international freight forwarders.
  • Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging opportunities.
  • Engage with prospects through various channels, such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and conferences, to create meaningful connections and promote our services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers, influencers, and industry partners.
  • Provide Regular reports and updated on business development activities, sales pipeline and revenue forecast to the management team


  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the transportation and 3PL logistics industry. 
  • In-depth knowledge of transportation and 3PL logistics services, including freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, and supply chain management. 
  • Strong understanding of the industry’s competitive landscape, market trends, and customer needs. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders. 
  • Exceptional negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
