Echo Intern

What to Expect 

  • Industry-leading training: Depending on the role, new hires spend 4-8 weeks in a mix of classroom learning, interactive activities, group projects, and on-the-job experience, gaining insights into the logistics industry and Echo’s role in it.

Route 27 Program

Our Managed Transportation fast track program consists of three 9-month rotations, each focusing on a different area of our transportation system. Participants also receive supplemental training, which allows for entry level talent to learn how to creatively problem solve, manage effectively, and learn the Echo Way. We are committed to our fast trackers and developing the next level of management talent. 

Echo Trailblazers

The Echo Trailblazers internship gives you the confidence, community, and skills to forge a new path. As an Echo Global Logistics team member, you’ll work on real-world projects, learn from logistics experts, and work toward a common goal: simplifying transportation for our clients and carriers.

Internship Opportunities

We have a variety of roles available for internship opportunities:  

  • Sales: Join our client and carrier sales teams to engage prospective clients and build relationships with transportation providers. 
  • Managed Transportation & Roadtex: Gain hands-on experience managing contracted freight and Roadtex logistics operations. 
  • Corporate: Contribute to Echo’s success through roles in accounting, finance, analytics, human resources, and marketing. 
  • Technology: You’ll be part of our tech team, collaborating to develop innovative logistics solutions and enhance our technology platform.

Application Process

Online Application 

Our early talent recruitment cycle starts in the Fall to recruit for full-time and internship opportunities the following year. Review the resources available on our site, select the job function that fits your passions best, and submit your updated resume using our online application. 

Recruiter Phone Interview 

Once your application is submitted, an Echo recruiter will arrange a phone interview to learn more about you, your experience, and how your skills align with our early career opportunities. Remember to come prepared with questions! 

Assessment

If you are chosen to move forward, our recruiter will send you a 15–20-minute assessment that will allow us to gain additional insights into your unique traits. 

Onsite Manager Interview 

After the assessment is complete and you are chosen to proceed with the interview process, our recruitment team will contact you to schedule an on-site interview at Echo’s Corporate headquarters. You will have the opportunity to engage in our culture, shadow the job you are interviewing for, and meet our teams!
