National Truck Driver Appreciation Week 2020: Echo Recognizes Truck Drivers This Week and Beyond

In honor of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, September 13–19, all of us here at Echo would like to express our gratitude to every truck driver across the nation. We commend you for the hard work you do every day as you take on one of the most demanding and important jobs in America. We’re thankful for your dedication to delivering freight and ensuring we all have the goods we need for our daily lives.
This year’s National Truck Driver Appreciation Week takes on a special significance considering the vital role truck drivers have played throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Your courage and commitment have allowed all of us to get the essential items we need, both as individuals and businesses. To show our gratitude to truck drivers, earlier this year we launched EchoCares: Thanking Truck Drivers During COVID-19. Through this initiative, we surprised over 2,200 truck drivers from across the country with Subway® gift cards as a small way to show our appreciation. As the effects of COVID-19 continue to impact the country, we cannot thank you enough for all that you’re doing to keep America moving during these challenging times.
As a leader in the logistics industry, we at Echo recognize how important you are to our business as we rely on you, our carrier partners, to deliver over 16,000 shipments a day for our clients. We value our relationship with you and work continuously to enhance your experience while hauling loads for us. That’s why late last year, we launched EchoDrive Preferred, our rewards program for carriers that complements our proprietary EchoDrive® web portal and mobile app. EchoDrive Preferred offers an array of benefits ranging from early freight access and enhanced payment terms to discounts on SiriusXM subscriptions, truck parking, truck leases, fuel, and more. This is just one of the ways we aim to simplify the lives of those in our truck driver community.
We know that the job of a truck driver goes beyond simply driving. Every day, you not only work hard to deliver our goods safely, securely, and on time, but you also tackle other challenges like managing busy schedules, adapting to changing industry regulations, and navigating heavy traffic. You endure long hours on the road and extended time away from family so everyone else can have the things they want and need. These sacrifices do not go unnoticed.
During National Truck Driver Appreciation Week and all year round, we at Echo are grateful for your hard work and dedication, and we’re proud to work alongside you every day.
From all of us at Echo, THANK YOU.
