I’m excited to announce the launch of Echo’s new Transportation Simplified Blog. This blog will serve as a resource to our community of shippers and carrier partners, providing relevant industry news, best practices, and insights. Whether you’re new to the transportation industry and want to understand trucking terminology or capabilities by mode, or you’re a seasoned veteran interested in comparing how others approach transportation challenges, we’ll have something for you.
Echo began in 2005 with one objective—to simplify transportation management. Since then we have grown to become leading experts in the field, earning recognition for our digital innovation and logistics support. In our new blog, we’ll share with you some of the critical information we’ve learned on our journey.
As a 38-year transportation veteran myself, I look forward to contributing to the blog with insights on transportation trends and new technology. You’ll also be hearing from my colleagues including Dave Menzel, our President and Chief Operating Officer; Sean Burke, our Chief Commercial Officer; Jay Gustafson, our SVP of Carrier Operations; and Mark Redini, our Vice President of Pricing.
