We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Technology Security to lead and scale our cybersecurity posture across infrastructure, applications, and enterprise systems. As a key member of the TechOps leadership team, you will drive initiatives to safeguard our digital assets, define security strategy, and ensure regulatory compliance, while enabling innovation across technology teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Builds and mentors a high-performing security team and drives a security-first culture across the organization
- Integrates security best practices across the enterprise collaborating with business, TechOps, product, engineering, and architecture stakeholders to embed security into business & operational practices
- Develops and executes the organization’s technology and cybersecurity strategy in alignment with business goals
- Develops and executes on cyber incident response tactics to monitor, mitigate, contain identified security threats and vulnerabilities
- Leads the team responsible for infrastructure security, application security, threat detection, and incident response
- Oversees security architecture design and risk assessments for all technology initiatives
- Establishes policies, standards, and guidelines for information security across the enterprise
- Manages the selection and implementation of security tools and technologies
- Monitor emerging threats and adapt security posture accordingly.
- Leads IT security compliance and audit efforts (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA depending on industry)
- Establishes and manages the risk management strategy to catalog, monitor, and manage identified threats and risks
- Engages with executive leadership to communicate security strategies, technology risk, and security program status
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or technology risk, with 5+ years in a leadership role
- Proven experience designing and managing large-scale security programs in complex environments
- Prior experience in IT Operations running infrastructure, networking, and/or IT operations teams highly preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent) are highly preferred
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), network security, DevSecOps, and zero-trust architecture
- Expert in vulnerability management strategy and tactics
- Strong knowledge of security standards, frameworks, and regulations
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field

Compensation
$148,600.00-218,300.00 per year
This role is eligible for a bonus that is based on a combination of personal and business performance.
