Echo's Perspective on Diversity and Inclusion At Echo, we value diversity and strive to have an inclusive culture, free from bias and prejudice. One of our core values is "Do What’s Right." For us that means listening, educating ourselves, paying attention to these important issues, and supporting our employees. We remain committed to continuously growing by expanding our understanding of the diverse perspectives of our colleagues, clients, carrier partners, and the communities we serve. By doing so, we continue to work toward a future marked by empathy, equality, and inclusion. Click here to read our Human Rights Statement. Employee Resource Groups At Echo, we're committed to creating a strong culture of community, where employees are encouraged to connect with each other over shared interests. That's why we maintain several employee resource groups that allow our team members to build camaraderie as they work together on various initiatives to make a positive impact in the workplace and in our communities. In addition, Echo hosts over 40 internal interest groups where employees can bond over shared passions, such as music, fitness, cooking, art, pets, and more. Diversity and Inclusion The Diversity and Inclusion group demonstrates Echo's commitment to advocating for diversity, inclusion, and equality both in and out of the workplace. Along with Echo leadership, the group helps maintain a culture and atmosphere of mutual respect, where employees of all backgrounds, perspectives, and abilities are empowered to reach their full potential. Echo Gives The mission of Echo Gives is to give back to the community. This group encourages their fellow Echo team members across the company to participate in volunteer opportunities such as food drives, tutoring, environmental cleanups, non-profit support, fundraisers, community service events, and more. Echo Pride Echo Pride supports LGBTQ+ employees and allies by fostering an environment of acceptance so everyone can feel comfortable bringing their whole selves to work regardless of their identities. Open to all Echo team members, this group organizes meetings, events, and fundraisers to support the local and national community. Women at Echo Women at Echo was formed to help cultivate an inclusive environment that recognizes the accomplishments of women in every department and role at Echo. This group supports, encourages, and enables women to advance their skills and leadership through connection, mentorship, collaboration, and discussion. The mission of Women at Echo is to advocate on behalf of all women at Echo to ensure the continued success of the entire organization. Echo Families Echo Families is intended to engage and celebrate families of all kinds through seeking and sharing advice, tips, and stories. One of the ways the group accomplishes this is by hosting family-friendly events where Echo team members and their loved ones can come together, socialize, and connect. Military Employee Interest Group The Military Employee Interest Group supports team members who are veterans, military spouses, and advocates of the military. This group works to support the military community inside and outside of Echo by collaborating with organizations that provide resources to service members, veterans, and military families.
