Baraka (Raki) Nevels has served as Regional Vice President of Echo’s Scottsdale office since February of 2018, and he is the Executive Sponsor of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Raki joined Echo as a Carrier Sales representative in 2008 and has served in multiple leadership roles over the years. His career in freight brokerage, which began in 1996, has given him key insights into supply chain management, and under his guidance, his team manages the shipment of goods for some of the biggest names in the food & beverage and retail industries. Raki attended DePaul University in Chicago.
