Echo's internship program gave me the opportunity to fully immerse myself in the industry. I wasn't treated like an intern. I felt like a full time representative and I learned more about the industry than I ever could have imagined.
My summer as a Managed Transportation Intern for Echo Global Logistics exceeded my expectations. I was able to gain insights into the transportation industry and learn about how a leading 3PL functions. When I hit the floor, I was able to utilize this training as I started to work hands-on with different accounts. I felt that I was contributing to my team’s success and I knew that I was gaining valuable experiences which would be beneficial throughout my career.
Echo gave me real-life sales experience that I will benefit from in my career post-graduation. It was a hands-on, fun, and amazing experience. I’m so happy I was able to be a part of it!
This past summer with Echo Global Logistics exceeded my expectations on so many levels. Everyone that works there is so friendly and willing to help you. I felt like my work was valued by my mentor and team members. I got to experience a true corporate office environment and see how real decisions were made. I learned more than I ever thought I would from a summer internship and I’m so glad it was with the people at Echo.
You aren’t an intern; you are an employee. Echo does a great job at giving their interns a real-world experience, and works to make this experience fun along the way. From all-expense paid Cubs games, to discussing deployment strategies with our security team, it was a great experience.
