Scott Friesen, Executive Vice President of Strategic Analytics

Scott leads the analytic function at Echo Global Logistics. He also represents Echo on the Executive Board of BiTA, the Blockchain in Transportation Alliance, and serves as an advisor to an Articifial Intelligence startup company.

Prior to joining the Echo leadership team, he led the Advanced Analytics and Insights unit at Quadratic, a Richards Group affiliate company. The AA&I team was responsible for measurement, analysis, and the extraction of value from marketing and other client data sources. Prior to joining The Richards Group, Scott built and led the customer insights and marketing analytic team for Ulta Beauty and Customer Analytics at Best Buy.

Outside of his immediate responsibilities, Scott enjoys teaching on the topics of applied analytics and fighting innumeracy wherever he can. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia Business School in New York and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Swarthmore College.
